Terms & Conditions

Please read these booking terms carefully before confirming your safari.

1. About these terms

These terms apply to safaris, tours and travel services booked with So Phine Ltd, trading as Phine Safaris ("we", "us"). Your written quotation or proposal sets out the exact itinerary, price, inclusions and exclusions for your trip and forms part of your booking.

2. Quotations and prices

Prices are quoted per trip in US dollars unless stated otherwise and are based on the number of travellers, dates and accommodation shown in your proposal. Quotes are subject to availability until your booking is confirmed.

3. Payment terms

  • A payment of 50% of the total amount, or the amount in full, is required to confirm your booking.
  • Any balance must be cleared 21 days before travel begins.
  • Bank charges or card link charges are not included and are payable by the client.

4. What is included

Each proposal lists exactly what is included — typically accommodation, transport, activities, meals and park or conservancy entry fees as indicated in the day-by-day itinerary. Anything labelled as optional is not included unless you book it with us before the trip.

5. What is not included

  • International flights
  • Additional accommodation before or after the tour
  • Personal items such as souvenirs, travel insurance and visa fees
  • Tips (our tipping guideline is US$10.00 per person per day in Kenya)
  • Any extras not mentioned in the inclusions

6. Government taxes and park fees

Any government-imposed increase in taxes or park entry fees after your booking is confirmed is not included in the quoted price and may be passed on.

7. Travel documents and insurance

You are responsible for valid passports, visas and any health requirements for your trip. We strongly recommend comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellation, medical care and evacuation.

8. Changes and cancellations

If you need to change or cancel your booking, contact us as soon as possible. Cancellation charges depend on the suppliers booked for your trip and are confirmed in writing with your quotation.
