Mt Kenya is Africa's second highest mountain after Mt Kilimanjaro. It is an enjoyable mountain to climb, with stunning views glacial features, and varied flora and fauna. The Sirimon – Chogoria route is the most popular ascent as the Sirimon is on the drier side of the mountain and has some of the finest walking with fantastic glacial scenery and a nice steady ascent.
